Jammertest 2026 Applications

Jammertest 2026 Applications Open for GNSS Resilience Trials in Norway

Applications are now officially open for Jammertest 2026, one of Europe’s most specialized real world test campaigns focused on GNSS interference resilience. The event will take place September 14 to September 18, 2026, on Andøya, Norway, bringing together selected organizations to evaluate positioning, navigation, and timing performance under controlled jamming scenarios.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, Jammertest has established itself as a high level technical platform for stress testing GNSS dependent systems across civil and defense domains. The event is not open access. Due to strong international demand, participation is subject to a formal application and selection process, with organizers reserving the right to prioritize attendance based on Norwegian national interest and strategic needs.

Controlled GNSS Jamming Environment for High Precision System Validation

Unlike laboratory simulations, Jammertest provides a controlled but realistic interference environment. Participants can evaluate how their receivers, antennas, timing systems, and integrated navigation platforms perform when exposed to varying levels and types of GNSS disruption.

The 2026 program is expected to cover a broad spectrum of use cases, including:

Timing and critical infrastructure synchronization

  • Maritime navigation systems.
  • Aviation navigation and approach systems.
  • Automotive positioning technologies.
  • Surveying and geospatial applications.
  • Military and defense systems.
  • Other GNSS dependent platforms.

Applicants must specify their primary GNSS application focus and preferred test participation format. The organizers emphasize that the application applies at the organizational level, meaning each company or institution submits a single consolidated application, including a preliminary participant list.

Participant Fees and Application Deadline for Jammertest 2026

The participation fee structure is defined as follows:

  • EUR 1500 per standard participant.
  • EUR 150 per academic participant.
  • Aircraft, ships, and other large platforms assessed individually.
  • All prices include VAT.

Organizations must submit applications by April 6, 2026. Invitations to selected participants are expected to be issued by the end of April 2026.

Required application details include company registration information, VAT or organization number, country or countries of ultimate ownership, and a preliminary list of representatives.

Multi Agency Collaboration Behind Jammertest

Jammertest 2026 is organized by a consortium of leading Norwegian authorities and institutions:

  • Norwegian Public Roads Administration.
  • Norwegian Communications Authority.
  • Norwegian Defense Research Establishment.
  • Norwegian Metrology Service.
  • Norwegian Space Agency.
  • The Norwegian Mapping Authority.
  • Avinor.
  • Testnor.

This multi agency structure reflects the strategic importance of GNSS robustness across transport, aviation, telecommunications, national security, space services, and geospatial infrastructure.

Event Details

  • Jammertest 2026.
  • Location: Andøya, Norway.
  • Dates: September 14 to September 18, 2026.
  • Application deadline: April 6, 2026.
  • Invitations issued: End of April 2026.

For GNSS manufacturers, system integrators, infrastructure operators, and research institutions working on resilient positioning and timing solutions, Jammertest 2026 represents a rare opportunity to validate technology in a structured interference environment under the supervision of national authorities.
