Pasternack to Debut Anti-Jamming Multi-Constellation GNSS Antennas at Commercial UAV Expo 2026

Infinite Electronics is preparing to introduce a new generation of Pasternack multi-constellation GNSS antennas with anti-jamming capabilities at Commercial UAV Expo 2026, targeting UAV manufacturers and integrators that need more dependable positioning in increasingly difficult radio-frequency environments.

The new antennas will make their public debut at the Commercial UAV Expo, scheduled for September 1 through 3, 2026, at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. Infinite Electronics will exhibit at Booth 849.

Rather than focusing simply on receiving more satellite signals, Pasternack is addressing a growing weakness in autonomous and remotely operated platforms: maintaining usable positioning, navigation and timing data when the RF spectrum around the vehicle becomes congested or subject to interference.

Multi-Constellation GNSS Support

According to Infinite Electronics, the new Pasternack antennas support a broad selection of global and regional navigation satellite systems, including GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS and NavIC.

Frequency coverage extends across the major L1/E1/B1, L2 and L5/E5 GNSS bands.

That multi-band capability is particularly important for modern professional GNSS receivers. Access to several frequencies allows compatible positioning systems to use more satellite observations and can improve their ability to deal with atmospheric errors and difficult signal conditions compared with basic single-frequency GNSS configurations.

Support for several constellations also increases satellite availability. This can be valuable for UAVs operating near structures, infrastructure, vegetation or other obstacles where part of the sky may be obstructed.

Infinite Electronics has not yet published individual antenna model numbers or detailed specifications such as antenna gain, noise figure, dimensions, connector options, power consumption or weight. Those figures should therefore not be assumed until product-level technical documentation becomes available.

Anti-Jamming GNSS Technology

The more notable part of the announcement is the antenna family’s interference mitigation capability.

Infinite Electronics says the design can suppress jamming signals arriving from low elevation angles while also rejecting interference from neighboring frequency bands. The goal is to protect receiver performance when legitimate GNSS signals must compete with stronger unwanted RF energy.

That matters because signals arriving from navigation satellites are extremely weak by the time they reach a GNSS receiver. Even relatively modest local interference can therefore create significant problems for positioning equipment.

For commercial drones, GNSS performance can affect considerably more than the position shown on a map. Satellite navigation can support flight control, georeferencing, automated routes, mapping, surveying and synchronization functions, depending on the UAV and its payload.

An antenna capable of rejecting some unwanted RF energy at the front end of the positioning system can therefore become an important part of overall PNT resilience.

It is important, however, not to treat “anti-jamming” as synonymous with complete immunity to interference. Actual resistance will depend on the type, direction and strength of the interfering signal, as well as the receiver, installation and surrounding platform. Infinite Electronics has not released quantitative jamming suppression figures for the new models.

Built for UAV and Outdoor Systems

Pasternack says the antennas are built to MIL-STD-810 requirements and are intended for outdoor applications that include fixed, mobile and infrastructure installations.

The company is positioning the new products beyond drones alone. Potential applications include autonomous systems, mission-critical navigation, precision timing, transportation, public safety, critical infrastructure and geospatial equipment.

For UAV designers, ruggedization can be especially important because antennas are commonly exposed to vibration, rapidly changing temperatures and environmental conditions while also having to maintain a clean view of the sky.

Specific MIL-STD-810 test methods and environmental limits for individual antenna models have not yet been disclosed, so more precise durability claims would be premature.

Why These GNSS Antennas Matter

The strongest aspect of Pasternack’s announcement is not simply the unusually long list of supported satellite constellations. Multi-GNSS and multi-frequency reception are increasingly expected in professional positioning equipment.

The more interesting development is the combination of broad GNSS coverage with interference mitigation in a package specifically being promoted for autonomous and unmanned applications.

As commercial UAV operations move toward longer flights, automated missions, infrastructure inspection, surveying and increasingly complex operating environments, GNSS reliability becomes a system engineering issue rather than just a receiver specification.

A high-performance GNSS receiver cannot make full use of its positioning algorithms if corrupted or overloaded RF signals reach the receiver in the first place. Improving interference rejection at the antenna level potentially gives system designers another layer of protection before software-based positioning and integrity algorithms are applied.

That makes Pasternack’s new lineup particularly relevant to professional UAV integrators rather than only component buyers looking for another GNSS antenna.

The unanswered questions will be equally important. Antenna gain patterns, filtering characteristics, jamming rejection performance, size, weight, power requirements and pricing will ultimately determine how easily the products can be integrated into actual UAV platforms.

Commercial UAV Expo should provide the first opportunity to examine those details more closely.
