Eos Positioning Systems has introduced the new Skadi Handle Range Pole Bracket, expanding the Skadi accessory ecosystem with a practical mounting solution that streamlines field operations for GNSS professionals. The new bracket is now included as standard with all Skadi 200, Skadi 300, and Skadi Gold GNSS receivers, reducing setup complexity while improving workflow flexibility.
New Range Pole Mount
The Skadi Handle Range Pole Bracket has been designed to work seamlessly with both the Skadi Smart Handle and the Skadi Standard Handle. Instead of relying on additional adapters or mounting hardware, users can now attach the handle directly to a survey range pole using a dedicated bracket supplied with the receiver.
The simplified mounting system reduces the number of accessories surveyors and GIS professionals need to carry into the field while creating a more organized and reliable setup during data collection.
According to Eos Positioning Systems, the new accessory also removes the need for extra hardware when mounting a smartphone or tablet, helping create a cleaner and more integrated mobile workflow.
Faster Field Transitions
One of the primary advantages of the new bracket is its ability to support quick transitions between handheld and pole mounted operation.
Field crews often alternate between collecting GIS assets at close range and performing precise GNSS measurements from a survey pole. The integrated bracket allows the Skadi Handle to move between these working modes with minimal interruption, helping improve productivity throughout the workday.
The approach reflects a growing trend among GNSS manufacturers toward simplifying field equipment while maintaining professional accuracy and ergonomics.
Skadi Receiver Compatibility
The new bracket is included with every new:
- Skadi 200 GNSS receiver.
- Skadi 300 GNSS receiver.
- Skadi Gold GNSS receiver.
Eos has not announced any technical changes to the receivers themselves. The release focuses entirely on improving the usability of the existing Skadi platform through a practical hardware enhancement.
Built Around Field Efficiency
Rather than introducing another standalone accessory requiring separate installation, Eos has integrated the Range Pole Bracket into the standard Skadi package.
For GIS professionals, utility mapping crews, surveyors, public works agencies, and asset management teams, reducing setup time and minimizing loose hardware can improve daily productivity while lowering the chance of misplaced components in demanding field environments.
The new accessory further strengthens the Skadi ecosystem by making receiver deployment faster and more intuitive without changing existing workflows.
